The Ravenclaw Diadem really is a beauty, but, is it my last horcrux?
Hi my name is Rodney and today we’re going to be looking a little bit closer at the Ravenclaw Diadem
now if you’ve only seen the films or like me just forgot the intricacies of this complex plot
then you know that the Ravenclaw Diadem is a little more than just one of Voldemort’s horcruxes so if you don’t want to have any spoilers, then I would suggest stop watching now of the horcruxes that are available to purchase from Noble Collection
the Diadem would probably sit on the higher end of the price range, because the way that it go would be…
the Diary, the Locket, the Ring, the Hufflepuff Cup and then the Diadem
now Harry and Nagini are a little bit more complicated and I know that you can get things to represent them
but this is about the Ravenclaw Diadem, so I won’t be going into that in this post
it is made out of delicate silver plated brass and I’m sure you can see, it is quite a glorious replica
featuring what is supposed to be a blue sapphire, of course this and all the other stones are made out of crystal
interestingly and correctly, it features what is clearly an eagle
we know this from the books to be the true symbol of Ravenclaw rather than the raven, which is what the filmmakers changed
but it also comes with quite a special display box which then features the film version of the Ravenclaw crest inside and with a raven on the front
so to recap, as a keen collector of Harry Potter merchandise, I would say that the Ravenclaw Diadem really is an item worth collecting
it is an exquisite replica and on the higher end of the price range it was something that i had to save up to collect, so I’m really pleased that I now have that…
now of the two horcruxes that are ‘living’, meaning Harry and Nagini I know there are things you can get to represent them…
but I was looking to collect more real items in a sense rather than plush or like a scaled model of Harry and Nagini
I know that people…I would probably get maybe round spectacles to represent Harry and I’ll still aim to get something like that…
and then I think I’d maybe wait until we’ve seen all the Fantastic Beasts films because Nagini features in them
maybe something like in those films will be an ideal thing to represent Nagini
so I think I will collect something like that when it becomes available…if it does…
